Elite Pyrotechnics, LLC,  a pyrotechnic and fireworks display company, will present a variety of high quality display fireworks for your celebration needs. We will create a complete production that will be safe and worry free, no matter the budget. Personal service, very high quality and new fireworks, plus experienced pyrotechnicians is our trademark. We can also provide you with just the product if you like to fire your own display shows. Prices can range from $1,000 to $100,000.

Choose your show shell by shell, select one of the packages, or do some of each. We will work with you to supply just what you need. Every show is based upon your budget size.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DUE TO INCREASED TRAVEL EXPENSES, ALL OUT-OF-STATE EVENTS MUST START AT $3,000 IN BUDGET SIZE. DEPENDING ON THE MILEAGE, OTHER FEES MAY BE ADDED TO THE COST.

Assortment of aerial shells will include: Color and Multi-Color Aerial Shells, Glitter and Color Changing Shells, Fancy and Deluxe Unique Aerial Shells. We count all shells in Multiple Shot Barrages (cakes) as one (1) item. We will substitute for other items upon request.

We offer both hand-fired or electronically fired displays. Larger shows custom tailored to your needs. If you aren't sure what you need, we will be more than happy to assist you in designing that special event which is right for you and your budget.

INFORMATION FOR ALL FIREWORKS PURCHASERS

Licenses, Permits, Fingerprints, Photo IDs and Background Checks


IMPORTANT:  Please read the following information as the Homeland Security Act has caused some major changes which been made in the procedures for acquiring fireworks.

It will be a Federal crime to physically transfer explosives to non-licensee or non-permitee after May 24th 2003. Federal and State political subdivisions are excluded from this.

  1. If you are purchasing a display that Elite Pyrotechnics, LLC fires for you, then there are NO changes for you.
  2. If you purchase and shoot your show as a Federal or State subdivision (re: City of, Town of, City Fire Department, City Police Department, any government entity, etc.) then there are no changes for you. (You will still need PROPER STORAGE.) Fill out the 5400.4 at the time of purchase and shoot your show.
  3. If you are an individual or business that is not affiliated with a Government entity, AND you were purchasing from us then there are the following changes.
  4. You were able to make purchases using the 5400.4, Yellow Form that you filled out at the time of purchase. You got this from us when you picked up the product. This is no longer an option after 2003.
  5. If you shoot your own show and are not a Federal or State political Subdivision (re: City of, Town of, City fire Dept., etc.) Volunteer fire departments then you will need a FEDERAL PERMIT!

IF YOU NEED A FEDERAL PERMIT, PLEASE CALL THE B.A.T.F. office near you and ask for a permit package to fire a fireworks display. (Allow at least 3 months for processing.)

  1. Types of Federal Explosive Permits:
    # 54: User of Fireworks (Display)
    Cost: $100, Term is 3 Years
    • Allows user UNLIMITED purchases over a 3 year term. User can purchase from outside of their state and can cross state borders with their purchase. Allow 45 days for processing. Form ATF 5400.13/5400.16 available by downloading at:

    • With this application you will need to submit:
      1. Your Picture. (Unclear yet whether passport type will suffice)
      2. Your Fingerprinted card (Police issue will NOT suffice)
      3. You will also need PROPER STORAGE.

  1. # 55: User (Limited) of Display Fireworks
    Cost: $75, Term is 1 Year
    • Allows user ONE single purchase over a 1 year term. User can purchase from outside of their state and can cross state borders with their purchase. Allow 90 days for processing. Form ATF 5400.21 available by downloading at:

  1. # 60: Limited Permit
    Cost: $25, Term is 1 Year
    • Allows user SIX purchases over a 1 year term. User can only purchase from within their state and cannot cross state borders with their purchase. Requires same background check as the Type 54 and 55, complete with fingerprint card and photo submitted with application. Allow 90 days to process.
