REXBURG
FIREWORKS WILL DRAW THE EYES OF THE WORLD
REXBURG,
Idaho – Elite Pyrotechnics will once again help
Rexburg to maintain its position as the leading
International Festival attraction with a trademark
spectacular firework display to mark the beginning
of the 20th Annual Idaho International
Music and Dance Festival during the opening ceremonies
according to an announcement made today.
The
black powder magicians of Elite Pyrotechnics will
be bombarding the Upper Valley’s skies with
“Titanium Salutes,” “Falling Leaves,”
“Brocade Crowns” and “Bees” – to name a
few of the swirling, glittering and booming
fireworks effects that will explode over Rexburg
on July 29th. "We will be
contributing our artistic skills to the Festival
in Rexburg on July 29th," said Prokes,
Lead Pyrotechnician for this show.
The
Dance Festival is the main event, not the
fireworks display, after all. “We are kind of
like the icing on the cake,” said Milan Prokes,
General Operations Manager and Display Designer,
adding he hopes the fireworks will send people
home with a smile on their faces.
Audiences and nine dance teams from around
the world will be treated to a world-class
show,” said Prokes. We feel that the audience
will witness an unforgettable fireworks show this
summer. "It will both creatively and
operationally be an exciting and challenging task
for us and we're proud of what will be
achieved," added Jeff Wilde, Office Manager.
Not
only will a lot of fireworks be shot off, but some
pricey ones as well. Shells will go off in the
shapes of hearts, stars and bow ties. Using 3-inch
to 6-inch shells means that we can fire vast
variety of effects. Elite Pyrotechnics expect to
be setting off Roman candles, mines, rockets and
other ground display fireworks.
“With everything that’s
going on in the world today, it’s a relief and
great time for this community to come together and
welcome with open arms everyone around the world
and enjoy each countries’ traditions,” said
Prokes. While the artistry of the show makes it
special, it’s the audience that really adds to
the excitement. Every year we try something a
little different,” he said. We improve both the
quality and quantity, he added. This will be the
largest and finest we have ever done,” he said.
“The expression ‘how beautiful’ says everything
about the pleasures of watching fireworks,” he
added.
